April Fools at 01 April this year in the WWE Universe it is certainly not, because this time it is the biggest wrestling ppv event in the world – Wrestlemania XXVIII, here’s a preview of the WWE Wrestlemania 28 Download|Replay that will be available online shortly after the PPV on Itunes, Amazon and WWE Webcast.
Almost exactly a year the PPV main event was known. A Clash of Generations: The Rock vs. John Cena, arguably one of the greatest matches in history and the entire wrestling world holds its breath. But that’s not all.
Also available is the Streak of the Undertaker who returns back to the game to make a perfect 20-0. Triple H wants to end it – in a Hell in a Cell match. In addition, of course, both World Title to be fought … and Divas action!

Cody Rhodes (c) vs. The Big Show

For weeks now, Cody Rhodes has been humiliating Show based on Show’s past Wrestlemania failures. Will the the World’s Largest Athlete prove that he can have success at the grandest stage of all?
Can the Celtic Warrior be the first Royal Rumble winner to win the World Title at Wrestlemania since 2007 or will the proud Vegan champion keep his YES! title reign going?
Although this feud came out of nowhere and really only because Shaquille O Neil did not come to terms with WWE, I like it. Especially as Cody Rhodes was able to score again with me during this feud, because he prepared really very entertaining promos about the numerous failures of Big Show at WrestleMania.
I would also assume a victory by Big Show, if it were a non-title match. As I cannot imagine Big Show with the IC Title, because he no longer needs that title, I reckon here an upset victory of the evening and thus:

Singles Match Randy Orton vs Kane

Two former multiple time World Champions collide with both men trying to raise their stock to once again fight for the World Title!
For me this is the least interesting Wrestlemania feud. I do not think it has a real structure. The two have actually spent the last few weeks just attacking each other. Whatever the case: from the match, I expect not very much, to be honest.
Although both can deliver good performances and will certainly do their best, they are not great workers capable of working a match for the ages. Randy Orton will win at this PPV as a face, of course – it could be that after the feud is over already.

Divas Tag Team Match Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres vs. Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

Beth and Eve are looking to beat some respect into Menounos for not inviting them on Extra. Can former Diva’s champion, Kelly Kelly, help her celebrity friend beat her foes?
Well, the divas, including a celebrity guest still made it onto the Wrestlemania 28 card. I think that’s not bad, because the match will be short anyway, so I have no problem with that. This is probably a little filler match between the main events and of course the babyfaces will triumph as celebrity usually do on WWE events.

12 Man Tag Team Match Winning General Manager gain control of both RAW and SmackDown! Which general manager will successfully lead his team into giving him control over both Raw and Smackdown?

Team Teddy (Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Santino Marella, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder & Booker T) vs.. Team Johnny (The Miz, David Otunga, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry & Drew McIntyre)
Before they exchanged Christian with Drew McIntyre, Team Johnny’s team consisted virtually only from Upper Carder and former World Champs. Team Long on the other hand had midcard and jobbers. I think the team Johnny wins, and build on RAW and Smackdown a new GM Reign of Terror, serving in the aftermath of Wrestlemania for the new stories and other developments. So here we are again with another bad guy getting the victory.. Anything else would make me very surprised.
Winner: Team Johnny
World Heavyweight Title Match:
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Sheamus

I am sorry that this feud has been so low profile (even behind the feud of the GM) in the last few weeks it has faded a little into the background. Sheamus is indeed a strong contender and a great Heelchamp is Daniel Bryan, but one does not feel that the two of them have interacted particularly often – not in tag team matches or on the mic.
I hope for the match, the two get the 15 minutes, then they could certainly make a very strong match to stand on its feet. I would love to see Bryan defend successfully, but it’s really about time that a Royal Rumble winner at Wrestlemania gets the title win. Bryan’s run has been pretty lengthy, that would make a title change quite a legitimate thing. Winner: Sheamus
WWE Championship Match CM Punk (c) vs. Chris Jericho

In recent weeks, Jericho has made his feud with CM Punk personal by bringing up the addictions of Punk’s family. Can Punk finally silence Jericho or will Y2J humble him into turning into turning his back on his straight edge lifestyle?
Wow, this feud has in recent weeks become really personal! Jericho has done everything on punks to pull the dirt on his family to make him very angry. Nevertheless, the build for this match, which could be an alltime classic, can be described as disappointing.
Starting with the comeback of Chris Jericho 2012 return to WWE, that unfortunately could not meet expectations, due to the botched Rumble victory. Let’s hope that they both get the right time in the ring and show everything they can, because like I said earlier, it could be one of the best Wrestlemania matches of all time – because both are fantastic in the ring.
It was indeed already reported that the feud will go even further with CM Punk vs Chris Jericho Extreme Rules 2012 PPV rematch, then both have the opportunity to burn off more fireworks. The expectations for this match are huge, I really expect the best and have the Showstealer wrestling match of the evening right here.
The question of the winner is not easy to answer, just because the feud will continue. Both scenarios are quite possible. I’m really undecided, but I believe punk wins, only because I believe the WWE will not change both World Titles in one night.

With Shawn Michaels as the special guest referee, The Undertaker attempts to reach 20-0 for his streak and to avenge the beating he took from Hunter last year!
My expectations for the match fluctuate between excitement and a little bit of dissatisfaction. Why? Simply because it can be a great match, Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania. Undertaker and Triple H are great brawler and for this match probably give everything out of themselves. We might even see again a trip to the roof of the cage. Now one may ask, where is the discontent?
The special guest referee Shawn Michaels. Basically the situation is incredibly interesting when you look at the genius of the three people involved here. Basically, Shawn is not sure which side he will fight or support. He would like on the one hand, to end the streak, but basically he wants to do it himself. Secondly, he considers himself still better than his friend HHH.
Shawn Michaels in this match may not cost the Undertaker but cost HHH the match! Why? Because if Shawn Michaels cost Undertaker the match, then this calls for a match against HBK, but thats unlikely to happen. This situatimake Shawn’s work as a referee much less interesting, because he really can only be fair, just because of his personal situation of having retired from WWE.
But who knows? Perhaps the WWE surprised even with a really great moment and we all ask ourselves what’s going on. Now the only question remaining about the winner. At the end of us all should be clear that it will be called 20-0.

Icon vs Icon Match Once In A Lifetime
John Cena vs The Rock

An once in a lifetime match between two of the biggest stars in WWE history! What a feud! Above all, John Cena comes in the last few weeks on the mic in absolute form. He has surpassed The Rock in almost all promos.
This Rock John Cena feud is intense and the match could be pure classic regardless of its quality wrestling wise. I actually have to say, that it is already a classic due to the location and the two names involved.
The crowd in Miami will be on Rocky’s side, in general, I am hoping for a bombastic mood. I hope we see a very even match with many near-falls and brawl-heavy, so this is a match that is very intense.
On the question of who at the end wins the whole thing and I must say, here I am split. One could make John Cena turn heel at Wrestlemania 28 to win and change his character in respond to the negative reaction from the fans, or we let Rocky win and give him the prestige and a possible rematch remains open.
For Rocky, of course, it make sense as it is his hometown and a little bonus, the fact that it is only his second match since 2004. Whom should we now pick as the winner? I make it easy and tap on The Rock, because when Cena runs his mouth on the mic for the big match, he loses (see the summer twice against CM Punk). It’s Wrestlemania baby!
