Cody Rhodes vs Big Show

Considering that the match is not planned and developed really rather out of necessity, the build up for this midcard match is pretty good.
From the match itself, we have a dominant big man who can win the match but will not. A Big Show as IC champ? Really? Really? No, Cody will find a (dirty) way to defend his title. A DQ would be suitable.

Kane vs Randy Orton

Of course, you need the 2nd Flagship babyface on the card, that is super Orton, who gets his Wrestlemania match here. The match is also quickly build up at the last few weeks. In addition to the divas match, this match is really unnecessary and uninteresting, it would have been better for the other matches to have longer time.
About the outcome, fans need to have no illusions. I can here see nothing else than a victory for Orton, which then ends the “feud”. Too bad for Kane, the new / old gimmick loses in strength again after a second time loss on PPV since his return.

WWE had a chance with Beth vs. Kharma match to get me to watch the divas match but it is now a “celebrity match” on the card, because due to Kharma’s current status of hiatus from WWE. Last year, at least Snooki was funny. Here the two great heel divas will do the job for the blonde and the C-celebrity

A GM feud for control of the brands that I find very interesting. Structurally, almost one-fifth ME, if you follow the airtime of this feud. This is just positive in two respects, since the GM’s time is in the foreground and, second, that it is a kind of “safety match” to get as many of those who have earned an appearance at Wrestlemania.
Unfortunately, the wrong people get an appearance: Great Khali and David Otunga? Do not go! Because there are so few Midcarder who are not hurt, unfortunately (Sin Cara, Ted DiBiase, Wade Barrett). As for the winning team, I can only imagine team Johnny. He makes his role as a heel GM really well and it would be a mistake to drop him now. I doubt that D. Bryan after the match will have anymore reason to scream “Yes! Yes! Yes! ” Sheamus must win this match and the title, if only because the Rumble winner has for the past 5 years not win his match at WM. Also Bryan had his run as champ and Sheamus needs the Titel run to be in the main event again

Chris Jericho vs CM Punk

Even before Chris Jericho’s 2012 WWE comeback, many expected this match. And so it proved. Surely this will be a great match, two top stars come together and be sure to show a good match. Which is a shame for the match is the fact that it could have been build up a lot better.
I do not know what came over the WWE officials for Jericho to lose the Rumble and still not win the EC match. This has completely make his comeback lose any impact. Due to lack of time and airtime, the match is raised more toward the personal side, instead of the Best In The World gimmick.
As I said, I expect a technically strong match with many highlights. The question of the winner is not quite that simple. I’m torn, on one hand is Punk as champ who is over with the fans and is doing really well, which would suggest a successful title defense.
On the other hand, another loss would weaken Jericho even more standing. I opt for a title defense of punks, just because Jericho does not plan to stay long term with WWE, otherwise he would be showncase more strongly.

Undertaker vs HHH Hell in A Cell

Slowly the streak storyline is losing it’s charm for me, especially if it is fought for 3 years under the same opponents. HHH tries now for the 3rd time to break the streak. This time in a HIAC stipulation.
We have seen in recent years that due to gimmick PPV and PG rating, the quality of Hell In A Cell matches have suffered.. Here, however, fans can therefore look forward to the process and what is happening in the cage.
Another factor is HBK: The special guest referee will surely have an important role in the match. I think we can ruled out intervention in favor of HHH’s, but the promos were significantly and I cannot imagine that we HHH can end Undertaker the streak by a Screwjob. Either the end will be “right down the middle” or HBK will help the Undertaker to win, for example, by a lack of count for a cover by HHH and the subsequent finish at 1-2-3 and the Deadman wins again.

John Cena vs Rock

Without doubt the highlight of this year’s Wrestlemania 28 PPV. Two faces of the WWE meet for the first time in a official match. Both are top stars of a certain era in WWE. The Great One Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson against Cenation Leader John Cena. Attitude Era against PG Era. Tooth fairy to Fruity Pebbles.
The winner of the match will be able to raise up not only his hands to celebrate the victory in the main event of Wrestlemania 28, but the winner is also the undisputed No.1 in the WWE Universe, as he proved once and for all one to be the best there is.
The importance of the match means the winner can have only one name: John Cena. Rock’s full-time gig in the WWE has expired and I can not imagine that he must win the main event of Wrestlemania when he only appears once a year. He also has plenty of other projects and is already known as “The Great One”. For Cena’s, a victory means more.
