With the WWE undergoing a transitional phrase, it’s time to for the company to push new stars into the main event. Here is my booking of the WWE Summerslam 2012 Matches which heavily involve using of younger talents.

Daniel Bryan vs Alberto Del Rio
This could be a great feud. Also, Daniel Bryan’s popularity with the crowd chanting YES could be a great way to get Del Rio over more as a heel. It is time to have Daniel Bryan turn face as he is too popular with the crowd.

Wade Barrett vs John Cena
Barrett has already had the intercontinental title. It’s time for him to go on to bigger and better things once he returns. On top of Wade Barrett winning Money In The Bank 2012, a feud with John Cena would elevate him up the card.
If Wade Barrett fails to return in time from injury, the alternative match up would Be Lord Tensai vs John Cena. The classic monster vs babyface feud that we are familiar with.

Kharma vs Beth Phoenix
I think that’s the reason they put belt on Nikki Bella because Kharma is coming back soon and WWE want Beth to go after Kharma for the belt. This match up has been talked about for some time and could be one of the best feud that WWE has ever done for the women’s division.
Kane vs Ryback vs Mark Henry
I think Kane is the perfect guy to work with Ryback early on. I think Henry would be another one to get involved in this feud. Ryback should be able to go over both of those guys maybe even getting a match with Brock over the fall but I wouldn’t have him go over Brock.

The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler
Turn either Miz or Dolph face, just let the feud play out and the fans will decide for themselves who to cheer for.
As for Dolph separating himself from Vickie: Everybody seems to be in agreement that he should separate from her by now, but I actually think they complimented each other perfectly. The one that should leave is Swagger. He seems lost in the triangle.
I think Miz would work great as a face. He just needs to get the crowd on his side, and he would be able to pull it off really well, since he already has great mic skills. They are both very charismatic, great in-ring performers, and have excellent mic skills.
I love to see these to working together as rivals. They would be able to make it interesting and it would be considered one of the main event fueds. As long as the US Title is involved, I see great potential for the possible feud.
Cody Rhodes vs Sheamus
WWE Summerslam 2012 Matches
Rhodes is up there with Miz, Del Rio, and Ziggler as one of the best heels in the industry right now. He REALLY needs to be pushed to main event status. Along with Drew McIntyre, but that’s another story. Cody Rhodes will be the top heel for WWE for the long term.

CM Punk vs The Rock
I think Punk’s style and Rock’s style would compliment each other. As we all saw with his Wrestlemania feud with Cena, Rock isn’t quite as electrifying on the microphone as he used to be. I think Punk cutting some vicious shoot-style promos against Rocky could make him up his game.
Besides, I don’t think there ever will be a CM Punk vs Stone Cold feud. As much as I’d like to see those two go at it, Austin’s body just wouldn’t hold up… both his knees and his neck are way too broken down for it to be entertaining.

Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton
I would love to see Orton and Lesnar go at it. It would be great if Brock went at the stagnant Orton full force the way he’s been coming at Cena. Pop him in the mouth and bloody him and give him a few F-5s… Really maul Randy and force him to bring out the sadistic, calculating, vicious Apex Predator that we saw during The Age of Orton… Now THAT I would pay to see…
WWE could also play up their history as the two youngest WWE and World Champion respectively. Plus I think Brock Lesnar MMA style vs Randy Orton methodical style would result in a pretty good match.
