During the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, commentator Josh Mathews announced for the WWE SummerSlam 2011 Match Card.

Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett will take place on August 14th. The latest and probably final card reads therefore as follows:

Undisputed WWE Championship Match
Special Guest Referee: Triple H
CM Punk (c) vs. John Cena (c)

With WWE COO Triple H officiating the match, how will his authority as special referee influence the outcome of this match? It’s WWE Champion vs WWE Champion, it’s John Cena vs CM Punk II, who will walk out the undisputed WWE Champion?

This match could go several ways, as discussed in the WWE Summerslam 2011 Predictions article, the problem is that I have doubts WWE will let John Cena lose twice to CM Punk on consecutive PPV.

Therefore I see Triple H costing CM Punk the match and John Cena Undisputed WWE Champion.

However, then I foresee Alberto Del Rio cashing in MITB on John Cena to leave Summerslam 2011 PPV as the NEW WWE Champion.

Singles Match Mark Henry vs Sheamus

The battle of the two forces, only problem is that a loss will hurt either men greatly. Mark henry injured Big Show/Kane and is in probably the biggest push of his career. Sheamus is finally regaining some credibility as a main event wrestler. If I’m forced to pick a winner, I’ll go with Mark Henry.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship No Holds Barred Match Christian (c) vs. Randy Orton

Somehow I’m expecting Christian to retain over Randy Orton despite the No Holds Barred stipulation. Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and even Rtruth will be likely to intervene in this match to help Christian.

This is the final match of a feud that has spanned 4 PPV, so I’m expecting a classic encounter between the Viper and Captain Charisma.

WWE Divas Championship Match Kelly Kelly (c) vs. Beth Phoenix

It looks like WWE are pushing Beth Phoenix and Natalya as the new heel duo “Sisters of Destruction”, so you might expect a win here for Beth Phoenix. However Kelly Kelly WWE Diva Champion reign has been a good run thus far, so I’m picking her to get the upset win via a roll up.

Singles Match: Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett

Momentum is on the side of Daniel Bryan while Wade Barrett has been in the WWE doghouse for quite some time, I’m picking Daniel Bryan.

All in all, we have only 5 matches on the card, according to latest WWE Summerslam 2011 Spoilers, the CM punk vs John Cena Summerslam 2011 main event will go longer than usual. So expect the match to go at least 30 minutes (not including entrances).

It also won’t be a shock if there was an unadvertised bonus match added to the PPV during the broadcast.
