WWE Summerslam 2011 Matches
With the WWE SummerSlam 2011 PPV held on 14 August, here are the rumors of the WWE Summerslam 2011 Matches currently planned. The event is one of the most important and traditional WWE PPV of the year.
According to our WWE source, we can confirm the following WWE Summerslam 2011 matches are planned for the event. We must note that Vince Mcmahon may change these plans at anytime, so treat this report as rumors at this point.
CM Punk will headline the WWE Summerslam 2011 Matches as a headline champion. The current plan is for a rematch of CM Punk vs John Cena. In addition, we will also witness the final match between Randy Orton and Christian. The two are said to be facing off in a No Disqualification Match for the World Title.
There is also a match between The Miz and Rey Mysterio planned for the PPV. Rey Mysterio will reportedly get a bigger push this summer due to the Sin Cara suspension (more on this below). We are told that something big is planned for Rey Mysterio at Summerslam and the next night on Raw from San Diego.
In the midcard, a triple threat match between Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship is being discussed as well. Lastly, Mark Henry vs Kane is also in the plans for the WWE Summerslam 2011 Match Card.

The WWE Summerslam 2011 Axxess on August 13-14 at the Nokia Plaza will feature Edge, Triple H, Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton and many more Superstars. Most of the Summerslam 2011 Axxess VIP Tickets Sessions have been sold out at this point.

Meanwhile WWE Summerslam 2011 Tickets are priced from $44-$500 and are available in 9 seating zones. Tickets sales are still ongoing for the event on 14th August 2011 in LA.

Although Created A Monster by B.o.B is rumored, we can confirm that the WWE Summerslam 2011 Theme Song is Bright Lights Bigger City by Cee Lo Green. The song can be heard during the WWE Summerslam 2011 promo/video.
WWE Summerslam 2011 Poster
John Cena, Sin Cara, Alberto DeL Rio, Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly and more WWE Talents are featured on the WWE Summerslam 2011 Poster, which has the city of LA in the background.
WWE Summerslam 2011 DVD/BluRay
News is now available for the WWE SummerSlam 2011 DVD|Blu-Ray. The PPV will be published as a regular one-disc DVD and a 2-disc DVD set Special version (probably in a steel box)., The Summerslam 2011 Blu-Ray is set to be a one disc version. The WWE Summerslam 2011 DVD|BluRay will be release after 13 September in these formats.

WWE Money In The Bank Plans Changed
- It can also be confirmed that the original plans of the Money in the Bank PPV was for Alberto Del Rio to leave the PPV as the new WWE Champion. Shortly before the PPV, however, Vince Mcmahon put those plans on hold again and finally decided to have CM Punk as a new champion.
This is actually the 3rd time that WWE has pulled the plug on Alberto DeL Rio fulfill his “Destiny”, as he was scheduled to become World Champion at Wrestlemania27 and Extreme Rules 2011.
- Two superstars make history on Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank:
Alberto Del Rio is the first and only superstar who has won both the Royal Rumble and the Money in the Bank ladder match in the same year. CM Punk is the second superstar to have won the ECW, World, and WWE Title in the company. The first person was Kane.
- Update on Sin Cara Suspended Status
As reported previously, WWE Superstar Sin Cara is suspended for violating the Wellness Policy of the WWE. Sin Cara suspension for 30 days. WWE officials were aware of the test results on 20 June but chose not to announce it immediately so as to not upset the plans for Money in the Bank.
In theory, this means Sin Cara (who is featured on the WWE Summerslam 2011 Poster/Wallpaper) could still be on the WWE Summerslam 2011 Match card. However sources are telling us that WWE management are so upset that they are considering not bringing Sin Cara back even after the suspension period is over. Vince Mcmahon in particular is said to be unhappy with Sin Cara work inside the ring, feeling that he has not live up to expectations.
There is said to be alot of heat on Sin Cara for the violation as he was seen as the first major project of Triple H. The son in law of Vince Mcmahon is currently overseeing the talent development of WWE. Along with Kharma, Sin Cara was seen as the future star of the WWE, especially for winning over the Mexican audience.
To explain Sin Cara likely absence from the WWE Summerslam 2011 Matches and Smackdown TV shows, he was powerbomb by Sheamus into the ladder at the event. WWE then announce that Sin Cara injury would keep him off TV.
It must be noted that if Sin Cara violate the WWE Wellness policy again, it would mean a suspension of 60 days. A third violation and it would come to a contract termination. We of course continue to keep you informed about Sin Cara status with WWE as it develops.
Triple H Fires Vince Mcmahon
- At the end of the current edition of RAW, we saw Triple H New CEO/Chairman position announced. This is only a storyline. Vince McMahon is still the Chairman / CEO of the Company. With this storyline, Vince McMahon was only written off from the shows…again as seen in previous years:
2007: Vince Mcmahon “dies” when his limo exploded,
2008: The stage fell on Vince Mcmahon at the climax of his Million Dollar Mania Giveaway
2009: Vince Mcmahon sold Raw to Donald Trump and lost control of the show, leading to Vince Mcmahon vs Donald Trump feud.
2010: Vince Mcmahon attacked by the Nexus and went into “coma” state for months.
2011: Triple H fires Vince Mcmahon as CEO/Chairman of the company.
Regarding the long term future of WWE, Vince McMahon said not too long ago in an interview with Bloomberg that while he was still alive, he will remains chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment. Currently Triple H and Stephanie Mcmahon are being groomed to takeover the WWE, with Triple H becoming more involved in backstage duties since last year.
While there were rumors that the WWE Stocks may fall after the Vince Mcmahon fired from WWE storyline took place, reports of WWE Stocks indicate no noticeable change in WWE Stocks. In the past year, the WWE Stocks has fallen 31% already due to a mixture of WWE Stars leaving/retiring and lower WWE PPV buyrates.
