- This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown began with Alberto Del Rio in a promo. The WWE Champion said how beautiful it is to be in Mexico. Then he announced that he had no intention to step into the ring today.
SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long came out and spoke against Del Rio. Then he laid down the main event for the show: Alberto Del Rio vs. . The Big Show!

WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes did a promo about his match against Randy Orton at WWE Vengeance 2011, until he was interrupted by the Viper himself. Orton RKO attempt but Rhodes roll out of the ring. Randy then RKO two of Rhode’s paperbag carriers.
Mask vs Mask Match Sin Cara (Blue) defeated Sin Cara (Black) via La Mistica – Both the 2 Sin Cara’s were cheered loudly by the mexico crowd. In addition, the match was said to have been great.
After the match Sin Cara (Blue) force the other Sin Cara (Black), to remove the black mask from his head so everyone could see his face. Yes, fans will see the black sin cara unmasked on this week Smackdown!

– Mil Mascaras got a standing ovation with Triple H in the ring. It was announced that included Mil Mascaras will be in the WWE Hall Of Fame 2012. Whether this segment will be shown on television remains to be seen.
The Divas Of Doom (Beth Phoenix & Natalya) cut a heel promo and mocked the whole WWE divas division, before Eve Torres arrive and the two stopped and left the ring

Non-Title Match The Big Show defeated Alberto Del Rio (w / Ricardo Rodriguez) by DQ because of Ricardo Rodriguez intervened in favor of Del Rio during the match – after the match Mark Henry appeared and had a long Staredown with The Big Show.
The two men will battle at the WWE Vengeance PPV for the World Championship title. With this, the Smackdown mexico taping concludes.
