- After the Money In The Bank PPV went off air, Vince McMahon was looking shocked at ringside before he knocked down John Laurinatitis. Mcmahon then headed to the back. The live crowd at the event was described as electric and loud, that WWE had to pump up the audio system during John Cena entrance to drown out the boos.
- The T-shirt, which CM Punk wore coming to the ring last night, was sold in the arena. The CM Punk tshirt had the motto “Best in the World” and the date of the PPV, it was sold out within minutes and it remains to be seen if it will be available in the WWE Shop.

WWE insider source indicate that many officials did not know the outcome of the main event and were therefore particularly surprised to see CM Punk winning the WWE title. Only John Laurinaitis, a former SmackDown! Head writer, was in on the finish. He was seen with Vince McMahon during the ending of the match.
The WWE source also revealed that since the entire WWE locker room had no clue about the planned end of the WWE title match, the mood backstage among talents was one as excited as the live crowd. The spaces in front of the TV monitors were sought after, and even the agents/producers were completely clueless about the ending.

Only John Laurinatitis, Kevin Dunn and the match official was in the know and even Alberto Del Rio did not know what was planned. The Raw superstar was only informed during the main event by VinceMcMahon, about his involvement in the post match. This conversation happened shortly before Vince McMahon came to the ring with John Laurinaitis.

Currently CM Punk is still advertised for the WWE Raw 07/18/11 broadcast from Green Bay, Wisconsin. However for all the WWE house shows and television taping after this week Raw, CM Punk name is missing from the in-house advertising.
CM Punk did not bid farewell to the WWE locker room last night, although nobody believe it indicates whether CM Punk is leaving or staying with the WWE. It is known that WWE has offered CM Punk a five year contract and a non WWE Produced horror movie deal, both of which was rejected by CM Punk.
Those close to CM Punk also confirmed that he has a legit unhappiness with the Rock Wrestlemania 28 main event spot, as he feel the Rock does not deserve the position.
