Last year he was still in the main event of this event, but now he is here in the preshow. It should be a Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight, but he was in just a normal match in the preshow. He was the star and would have the most clicks on YouTube all the WWE superstars, but he was only in the preshow.
The crowd chanting “You Suck”, but Miz says that he would not “sucken” because he does not come from Chicago. Now he will bring the United States Championship, because he’s The Miz.

The announcers hype the main event today and in the backstage area, Eve Torres and Teddy Long are with Intercontinental Champion The Big Show and Cody Rhodes with the “Spinning Wheel”. Eve announced that it was their idea and goes through the possible matches. Could this possibly be a submission, Lumberjack, or even a handicap match.
Teddy Long spins the wheel and the pointer lands on “Tables Match”. The Big Show wish Cody Rhodes the best of luck, since he can never carry him through a table. Cody Rhodes blames Teddy Long for the stipulation.

Intercontinental Championship – Tables Match Cody Rhodes defeated The Big Show (c). Big Show stood on the apron and Cody with a kick to the leg of Big Show, as he tried to climb into the ring. Big Show accidentally slipped and trampled a table, which stood directly behind him. – TITLE CHANGE! – [04:35]
After the match Big Show can not believe it himself, and Cody Rhodes can celebrate, of course. Big Show knock the new champion down with a hard spear. Then he hammered Rhodes with a chokeslam through a table. Next Big Show raises Cody Rhodes in the air and throws him through a table, which stands outside the ring.
Backstage, Daniel Bryan interviewed by Matt Striker. He insulted the crowd. Then he answered with “YES!” when asked whether he will be champion today for the second time. After the interview you could see AJ in the background.

Relic Aaron and Jay Hatton, two local heroes. They will meet Ryback and are confident they will leave the ring victorious.

Handicap match Aaron Relic & Jay Hatton defeated by Ryback with a hard slam against Hatton and a high-angle Fisherman’s Suplex on Relic. Then he pin both players simultaneously. – [01:49] -. During the match there were loud “Goldberg” chants.
In the locker room WWE Champion CM Punk was interviewed by Matt Striker. Jericho and Punk will show how to fight in Chicago. He will defeat Chris Jericho and again prove that he is the best wrestler in the world in front of his family and friends.

Beth Phoenix meets the Bella Twins backstage. Beth makes it clear that she will pick up the title again, whereupon Eve Torres comes into the picture. Eve tells Beth that she had no medical release, so she will not be in today Championship match.
Eve says there will definitely still be a Divas Championship Match. The Bellas want to know who is the opponent of Nikki, but Eve will not tell. Kharma is definitely not the opponent. The Bellas come to the ring and her opponent is LAYLA!

Extreme Rules Match John Cena defeated Brock Lesnar by a violent blow with a thick chain and subsequent Attitude Adjustment on the steel steps. Right from the beginning of the match John Cena bleed and was busted open on the head. Lesnar dominated the match but Cena got the comeback win in the end with the steel chain. [17:45].
After a while, a furious Brock Lesnar leaves while John Cena has a microphone. Cena says even if he is fired on-air, he will say what he has in mind. Chicago was a wrestling city, and today there should be extreme. He tasted his own blood and his left arm was now injured, thanks to Brock Lesnar.
But he is proud that this happened in Chicago. All WWE Superstars give the fans everything and with all their heart into it. John Cena thanks everyone for “One Last Ride”, because he is gone for now.
