The latest edition of Monday Night RAW broadcast on 18 July saw Vince Mcmahon Fired as CEO/Chairman of WWE as order by the Board of Directors.

The person to replace Vince? None other than his own son in law, Triple H, the new CEO/Chairman of WWE.

To be honest, the announcement of the Board having Vince Mcmahon Fired from WWE was a huge surprise ending to an otherwise mediocre edition of Raw.

This week Raw was also the follow up to CM Punk WWE Championship Title Win at Money In The Bank 2011 after he defeated John Cena.

For weeks, we heard about CM Punk Leaving WWE with the title belt and Vince Mcmahon threatening to have John Cena fired from WWE if he did not win at Money in the Bank. Therefore fans definitely had plently of reasons to tune in to Raw. The question is: did the WWE Universe tune in?

Here’s the answer: WWE Raw 07/18/11 broadcast reached a total rating points 3:22. Thus compared to last week, the rating raised by 0:31 points.

The hourly values ​​were 3.15 and 3.29. An average of 4,830,000 people watched Vince Mcmahon Fired on Raw during Monday evening, approximately 400,000 more than last week, where RAW had strong competition.

At the end of the show we saw Triple H return to WWE, his first apperance since the night after Wrestlemania 27. Triple H announced that he would from now on, the Board want Vince Mcmahon Fired and Triple H to become the new ceo/chairman of WWE. Then Triple H fired Vince Mcmahon as per the order of the Board of Directors.

Triple H also announce that the decision to fire John Cena was overruled, which means John Cena stays in WWE. However Triple H did not talk about the WWE Championship title situation or how he would deal with CM Punk leaving WWE with the title belt.

In the opening promo, Vince McMahon promise the name of CM Punk would never again be mentioned. Tonight in an 8 man tournament, a new WWE Champion will be crowned, because no one is bigger than the WWE itself.

He also reminds everyone that he had promised for John Cena some serious consequences. It looked like we would see Vince Mcmahon fire John Cena at the end of RAW, as he had promised two weeks ago.

    do you think that if triple h is boss then we could be more entertaining raw? i wish it could go back to the attitude era, but it won’t. :( that would be awesome if triple h and shawn michaels (if he came back) brought back DX!

    I too long for the attitude era. But those days are long gone but never forgotten. I do agree that the WWE does need a strong infuse of kick it in the ass. The Rock comes back and promos himself “I’ll NEVER leave again!” and he came back for his birthday party. I thought for sure the attitude was back. But I will not wait a year for The Rock just to face John Cena and then become an ambassador like Shawn Michaels. I have watch the WWE since it’s early beginnings; if something doesn’t change soon, TNA is starting to look a whole lot better!
