Triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 27 – No Holds Bared

The Undertaker vs Triple H Wrestlemania 27 promo thus far make it sounds like an absolute dream match doesn’t it, well before we get into the detail of the match lets first take a look at each of the collosal superstars on their own.

First up is The Phenom, The Deadman, The Last Outlaw, The Undertaker. Undertaker has been with WWE since November 22, 1990 at Survivor Series, as the mystery partner of the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, making him the longest tenured superstar in the business with a career of over 20 years now. Since then he has gone on to have quite a long list of accomplishments, aside from his absolutely epic Wrestlemania winning. Just a year after his debut with WWE he would go on to defeat the legendary Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series for his very first WWE championship making him the youngest champion to win the title at that time.

After this the Undertaker went onto have many many memorable feuds with some of the biggest names wreslting has ever seen as well as having feuds with some of the new guys in WWE and showing them the meaning of Old School. The Undertaker has had what can only be called a simply epic career all of his feud have been absolutely legendary.

Next we come to the Game, The Cerebral Assasin, The King of Kings, Triple H. Triple H made his debut on April, 30 1995. Since his debut Triple H has gone on to dominate most if not all of the opponets that have stood in his way. He started one of the greateset stable’s ever with his long time partner HBK. DX, DX would go on to feud with not only Vince McMahon but also Stone Cold Steve Austin and would bring us some of the most comedic skitches ever seen on WWE TV.

After HBK was forced out of the business for 4 years Triple H would go onto help found the most dominant stable of the 21st century Evolution. Under Triple H he taught both Batista and Randy Orton everything he knew. The group was not meant to last however as the group dicended into chaos after Randy Orton won the World Heavyweight Championship. After this group faded Triple H started worrying about on person and one person only himself and it worked as he has gone on to become a 12 time world champion.

Triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 27 Promo

While this match came up as a bit of a surprise I have no doubt that this will be one epic match none the less. This match first came about after about a month of vignettes for the return of the Undertaker on 2/21/11. When the night finally came we all found out what we had been expecting for weeks that The Undertaker returning was indeed happening. We then found out what was most certainly a shocker to some, to see the Game Triple H returning as well. These 2 legends of the business stood in the ring and stared each other down until both glanced up at the Wrestlemania sign with neither saying a word.

The next Monday on Raw we all found out just a little bit more about Triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 27 match, as The Game would come out to discuss things including himself and The Undertaker. Triple H would say that at this stage in his career he had conquered every major obstacle in his path, and that there were no more mountains left for him to climb. Now he had outlasted every other star in WWE including the legendary HBK all except one, The Deadman, The Phenom, The Undertaker.

Triple H would go on to discuss how the Wrestlemania streak was what kept the Undertaker going year after year Wrestlemania after Wrestlemania. Triple H said that if he could defeat the streak he could destroy the Undertaker with it. Triple H said he would end the streak or he would die trying.

The Undertaker responded the following Smackdown by saying that Triple H was right about a couple of things. That he(Undertaker) and Triple H were indeed the last outlaws the last of a dying breed in the WWE. The Undertaker would go to speak of how Triple H was also right in saying that if Triple H managed to end the streak he would end the career of the Undertaker, however he also had a warning for TripleH that if he did try to end the streak he would end up Resting In Peace.

Also that night a video montage was shown showing all the victims that The Undertaker had buried at Wrestlemania’s past. It was an clever reminder to Triple H that it is no small task to take on the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. The last act The Undertaker had up his sleeve that night was to make the Triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 27 match No Holds Bared. Meaning there will be no excuses, no regrets when one of the two wins.

Triple H would respond the following Raw by showing a video montage of some of his most vicious matches to show the Undertaker just how brutal the Game can be in a match. Triple H would also go onto to thank the Undertaker for making the match No Holds Bared.

The Undertaker vs Triple H Wrestlemania 27 – HBK Promos

There is however one other person who must be taken into account, one other person that knows these 2 individuals better than anyone else The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels. HBK would talk of many topics over the weeks the first of which was why these 2 WWE legends were facing off. His reason for this was that when you got to the point in your career that the Undertaker and Triple H were at that you had to start making you own challenges and for Triple H that means trying to defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27.  For the Undertaker it is simply keeping his Wrestlemania winning streak alive.

HBK would next talk about his best friend over the years the Game Triple H. HBK said that he believes if there is one person that can defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania it would be Triple H. He said he believes this because in all the times he has ever faced Triple H he has never seen an ounce of feeling in Triple H’s face that make it seems almost as if Triple H enjoys the pain of others. HBK believes that the fact that Triple H has no feelings will help him is his match against the Undertaker since he won’t become emotionally invested in the match.

HBK would then turn his attention to talk about The Undertaker. HBK said that facing the Undertaker was tough for a couple of reasons. First off because of the aura of the Undertaker himself. Just the prospect of facing The Undertaker intimidates most superstars. HBK would then discuss the next facet of why facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania is so intimidating just because of the sheer awesomeness that is the streak it is so intimidating that most superstars let that defeast them before the match even begins.

I for one am very very interested to see how  the Triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania 27 match will play out. This will absolutely be a match for the ages and regardless of who wins this will be an instant classic and automatic match of the year nominee. Personally I am rooting for The Undertaker.
