Until recently, TNA Impact Wrestling had announced just two TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches for the 15 April PPV event. The new April 5 2012 Impact Wrestling broadcast had new TNA general manager Hulk Hogan in his first show.
The Hulkster began his new role with a bang and booked several TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches in a jam packed edition of Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. A total of 7 matches has been confirmed for the PPV event which takes place April 15th 2012 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville.
Here’s the Match Card as follows:
TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches
- TNA World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match: Bobby Roode (c) vs. James Storm
The former tag team of Beer Money Inc will face off inside the steel cage to determine who is the better man. Can Storm finally end the controversial World Title reign of Bobby Roode and get revenge on his former partner?
TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches
- Lethal Lockdown Match ( Loser Leaves Town )
Team Eric Bischoff vs Team Garett Bischoff
The father and son storyline has been met with negative reaction by online fans who are sick of the two Bischoffs hogging the TV time.
At Lockdown, this feud maybe done for good and perhaps Garett Bischoff career as a pro wrestler will be gone (let’s hope so).
TNA Lockdown 2012 Match Card
- Steel Cage Match: Jeff Hardy Vs. Kurt Angle
These two superstars can deliver great matches, as proven by their previous PPV encounters. However Kurt Angle injured his hamstring during a recent taping and might be limited in his movement.
TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches
- TNA Knockouts Championship – Steel Cage Match: Gail Kim (c) vs. Velvet Sky
After the mega push for Velvet Sky to win the Knockout title began, fans have wondered how TNA creative screwed up the most popular TNA Knockout title reign. The reboot button is available here for Velvet Sky to begin another title reign and be a top babyface for the Knockout division.
TNA Lockdown 2012 Card

- Steel Cage Match: Matt Morgan vs. Crimson
The former tag team partners face off to settle their differences after a break up of the team recently. More interesting is where will these two potential main eventers go after this feud is over.
Matt Morgan has been wasted with poor booking in recent months, a missed opportunity for the big man who bring above average ring and mic skills for a man of his size.
TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches
- TNA World Tag Team Championship – Steel Cage Match: Samoa Joe (c) and Magnus (c) vs. The Motor City Machineguns
The return of TNA most popular tag team see them battle against the new team of Joe and Magnus who have impressed with their chemistry. This should be a really good match as long as the MCMG don’t suffer from ring rust.
TNA Lockdown 2012 Matches
- TNA Television Championship – Steel Cage Match: Devon (c) vs. Robbie E
A rematch from last month TNA Victory Road 2012 PPV opener where Devon answer the open challenge of Robbie E and became new TNA TV Champion.
This is a filler match for most fans, considering how low the prestige of the TNA TV title has fallen. Remember when AJ Styles and Douglas Williams battle it out for this championship?
