This is a X Division themed event, the night of flying wrestlers and the return of the six sided ring.

The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels recently returned to Impact Wrestling after a short stint with Ring of Honor and fought on the side of Fortune against Immortal. But a few weeks later, Daniels is back where he was before his departure, nowhere in the card.
This would change, as he very confidently took Samoa Joe away from the main event and position himself against his best friend AJ Styles. This is now a respectful fight between two of the best wrestlers on the planet, will they break the friendship for winning the competition?

Mightymark: AJ against Chris Daniels. The match is certainly not new. But somehow it does not feel overdone, because the last match had been a while ago. The two faced each other in the main event of the last PPV before the Hogan era. Even if Joe vs. AJ vs. Daniels would naturally been a worthy main event match, this is clearly a Top match.
The story is fairly simple. “We are the founders of the X-Division. Let us show it all again.” And that’s enough for such a PPV. AJ Styles will win here because I’m relatively sure Daniels will have no future anymore in TNA. I won’t rule out the idea that Christopher Daniels will resign/quit TNA after the match.
After all, it will probably be his last PPV Main Event, so why not leave on a high? Otherwise he’ll probably go back to the Midcard. As for AJ, it’s uncertain because TNA is really overcrowded. But either way, I’m looking forward to this match.

Seanfury: I already said along with Kaz vs Samoa Joe, I expected the current match to steal the show. They will certainly make a great main event to close the PPV. I also think that Chris Daniels will win this match, since he may resort to heel tactics.

Takerfan: A good match, just lacking the return of Curryman …however, the roster is currently too big. I still expect a technically high-quality match with many spots and the Fallen Angel as the winner.

Already last year for TNA Hardcore Justice 2010, the following match up should have take place as the main event of the ECW Reunion themed event, but Jerry Lynn withdrew from the match after an injury. Eventually we saw Sabu replaced Jerry Lynn.
Now RVD vs Jerry Lynn will take place, in what is likely their last clash on the big stage.

Mightymark: A founding father of the X-Division against a man who was in his own words X-Division, before the division was founded. Now RVD could be right, even if he was never a part of TNA X Division. This match is certainly a good addition to the TNA Destination X 2011 Card. There is no real story here, but the two have a troubled past, which justifies this match easily.
The match itself will not approach the heights of the old classic ECW days, but both will be very motivated and deliver at least a good match. RVD will win here, because Lynn is not likely to appear again in TNA. Although a Tagteam of the two would not be a bad idea at all.

Seanfury: Beside the “X Division Contract match”, this is the one which I am most looking forward to. It’s about time that these two finally meet each other again. Both are still in very good shape, and I’m absolutely certain that these two will show a really great match with lots of spots and technique.
It will definitely be great action, so now the question of who wins. I’m going with RVD since he’s the TNA star.

Takerfan: Jerry Lynn will proved again why he exist as a pioneer of TNA X Division. Despite his age, he manages to bring great moves and good conditioning. The match does not really have any real buildup, and is more like a tribute match. RVD and Jerry Lynn always have great chemistry. Now some fans might want Jerry Lynn to stay on, but TNA currently has a perfect roster, so signing Lynn is simply makes no sense. So I tip the win for the whole f’in show, after 13 minutes of nostalgia action!
