John Laurinaitis WWE Future In Doubt

According to a exclusive backstage WWE source, John Laurinaitis WWE future is considered highly questionable after being removed in power in real life and on screen WWE. It is expected that Laurinaitis would be released by WWE in the next year as numerous people are pushing for his departure from the company.

On screen Laurinaitis’s People Power era ended at No Way Out after he was fired by Vince Mcmahon on screen. While there are plans for Laurinaitis to be reunited with Brock Lesnar for his feud with Triple H and Vince Mcmahon, there are no long terms for Laurinaitis as a on screen character.

Off screen, John Laurinaitis served as the WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations from 2004-2012. However his bio has been removed from the WWE Corporate website’s index of executive officers as Triple H has officially taken over the title of Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.

One of the main reason for the change is that Triple H is not a fan of John Laurinaitis. Ever since he began operating in a backstage capacity, Triple H has been critical of Laurinaitis, claiming that he is not competent enough to perform the role effectively. Triple H largely blames Laurinaitis for the failure to negioate with numerous former WWE stars to resign contracts.

Vince Mcmahon was said to be no longer in favor of John Laurinaitis due to the recent waves of negative comments from Triple H, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. Mcmahon began the removal of Laurinaitis from his backstage role months ago by having him pass down everything he knew to Triple H.

“Big Johnny” has been heavily criticized by many for his performance within the role. Jim Cornette, Eric Bischoff and even Brock Lesnar, who in his autobiography “Deathclutch” recited the meetings he had with Laurinaitis in 2005 when Brock was initially rumored to make a return to the WWE.

Brock claims Laurinaitis offered half of what he was being payed when he left, which Lesnar accepted due to the manner he exited the promotion, but John also informed Lesnar that he would, “have to start from the bottom, all over again.”. Lesnar immediately ended negiotations based on that condition and end up joining MMA instead.
