John Cena Fired From WWE
The results of tonight’s WWE Money In The Bank 2011 PPV, means that we saw John Cena Fired from WWE. As per the stipulation of WWE Chairman Vince Mcmahon around 2 weeks ago on Raw, if CM Punk leaves WWE with the the WWE Title, then he promise that he’ll have John Cena Fired from WWE.
Is it real? Of course not, the real question is: how long will we see John Cena fired from WWE? Or will Vince Mcmahon even enforce the stipulation? As many fans know, John Cena is one of the most popular guy in the company with a huge fanbase of kids and women.
John Cena Fired From WWE 2010
This would not be the first time that the WWE Universe have witness the storyline of John Cena fired from WWE via a match stipulation. Previously at Survivor Series 2010, John Cena was the special referee for Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett WWE Title match.
The stipulation by then New Nexus Leader Wade Barrett was that if he won the title, Cena would be freed of the Nexus. However if he lost (which he did), he would have John Cena Fired from WWE.
The next night, we saw John Cena farewell promo on Raw. However, the angle become a bit of an joke, when Cena showed up repeatedly from the crowd or backstage to assault the Nexus. Eventually, less than 1 month in, we saw John Cena rehired/return to WWE and destorying Wade Barrett at TLC 2010 PPV.
John Cena Fired Money in The Bank Results
Overall, the John Cena vs CM Punk Money In The Bank match was a great encounter that lived up to deliver with all the hype going in. John Cena and CM Punk gave their best inside the ring, with a hot Chicago crowd watching on. The crowd was obviously very pro Punk and anti Cena, with the Cenation drown out by the CM Punk fans.
A slight disappointing aspect was the commentary team of Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Booker T. Once again, we had the strange dyanmic of Michael Cole cheering for John Cena while also providing the play by play. Lawler at one point commented that “there’s not one fan of John Cena here tonight” moments after chants of “Let’s go Cena”. Booker T was well…..Booker T on commentary.
The ending saw a flurry of nearfalls as John Cena and CM Punk tried desperately to secure the victory, with one dramatic sequence after another. We saw the GTS, AA, Anaconda Vice, STF all being used. The irony of the story came when Vince Mcmahon himself come down to ringside, only to distract John Cena indirectly, allowing CM Punk to capture the victory.
Thus, the result was John Cena Fired from WWE and CM Punk WWE Champion.
The desperate Vince Mcmahon had a backup plan, he called in Alberto Del Rio to cash in the Money In The Bank which he had won earlier on. However Punk was a step faster, knocking Del Rio out before escaping through the crowd. So Cm Punk wins WWE Title and leave the company…while Vince Mcmahon look lost and shocked.
Tomorrow night on WWE Raw, we’ll find out how Vince Mcmahon will handle John Cena Fired from WWE stipulation and CM Punk WWE Title belt.
