John Cena vs CM Punk Summerslam 2011
According to current plans, the WWE is looking to have John Cena vs CM Punk Summerslam 2011 to headline the biggest Pay-Per-View of the summer.
It is planned that John Cena vs CM Punk Summerslam 2011 championship rematch will be the main event for the biggest WWE PPV of the summer. Also being discussed is having CM Punk introduce a new WWE Title belt design to replace the current WWE spinner championship belt.
The current plan is for the CM Punk storyline to gradually progress over the next few weeks on television and internet. This will include CM Punk’s Twitter account, the WWE website and so on.

Beside the John Cena vs CM Punk Summerslam 2011 match, there are also two more scenarios being planned. One is special stipulation match for the WWE Championship title with CM Punk vs Alberto Del Rio. The other is John Cena against “Mr. Money In The Bank”, Alberto Del Rio.
The John Cena vs CM Punk Summerslam 2011 will obviously depend on whether CM Punk signs new contract with WWE or not. Currently only the top tier of WWE management know exactly whether has CM Punk signs new WWE Contract or not, as Vince Mcmahon is determined to keep this issue private.
It is said that Vince Mcmahon is aware that CM Punk storyline has caught fire in the “real world” and wants CM Punk to stay in WWE at least until Summerslam 2011. WWE plans on having CM Punk appear in mainstream media outlets in the next few weeks to promote the storyline of Punk being the first WWE Champion without a contract.
As part of the storyline, CM Punk did not appear on Monday Night RAW, but CM Punk Twitter account, tweeted about his presence at the Chicago Cubs game carrying the WWE Title belt.

Before this week Raw broadcast, Justin Roberts was instructed to inform the live crowd shortly before Raw went on air that “Vince Mcmahon has ordered the WWE Universe not to chant CM Punk name” which of course had the crowd chanting CM Punk name as the Raw broadcast began.
Despite the Vince Mcmahon fired from WWE announcement on Raw, Vince McMahon is expect to be backstage at WWE SummerSlam 2011 Pay-Per-View on Sunday, 14 August 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. So far it remains unconfirmed whether he will also make an apperance before the cameras.

Joel Styles return to WWE Announcing Team
ECW commentator Joey Styles Twitter update confirms hat he would be returning to announcing on WWE TV this Thursday – possibly on “WWE Superstars”. Joey Styles wrote: “Controversy abounds tonight so I’ll take this opportunity to let the world know that I am finally returning to announcing on Monday. “. WWE Superstars is taped on Monday and Tuesday before Raw and Smackdown respectively.
Joey Styles was recently in April 2008 working as a commentator for the show “ECW”, prior to being replaced by Mike Adamle and subsequently been promoted to director of digital media content for WWE.
Big Show Injury Update
Fans saw Big Show injured after the attacks of Mark Henry at WWE Money In The Bank 2011, it is confirmed to be a small storyline for the Giant to take time out.
The angle saw Mark Henry snash Big Show’s ankle which was jammed into a chair with his full weight on the chair. WWE announce on their website that Big Show injury means he will be out for six to eight weeks – or even up to four months.
The truth is that Big Show injury is a way to have a little break, as the giant grappler has told WWE management he needs time off to recover from the traveling and niggling injuries.
