ON WWE Raw, the WWE Title match was confirmed after Chris Jericho won the 10 man battle royal to determine the #1 contender for Wrestlemania 28. Therefore another match up for the PPV event is confirmed: CM Punk vs Chris Jericho Wrestlemania 28 for the WWE Championship.

All 10 competetors were the losers in the Chamber matches, 5 each from Raw and Smackdown respectively. Here’s a recap of the match on Raw.
WWE Champion CM Punk was on guest commentary for this match. Punk and Cole can’t stop griping at each other. Punk is winning the verbal battle. The whole ring of superstars eliminates Great Khali right away! They eliminated Khali because they know he’s the bigger threat in the match
MIZ IS GONE!! R-Truth and Kofi team to dropkick him out! CM Punk mocks the fact that Miz will not be in the Wrestlemania WWE Title match this year. We all know these two an’t exactly the best of friends backstage.
Big Show double chokelsam on Kofi and Truth! Chris Jericho codebreaker on Big Show and Zig Zag by Dolph Ziggler on Jericho! Cody Rhodes Cross Rhodes on Ziggler! Wade Barrett with Wasteland on Santino, wait it’s countered and Barrett is over the top rope!
Santino gets Rtruth over the top rope as well, that’s 2 in a row for the cobra man. Meanwhile Big Show throws Dolph Ziggler out too. Dolph went head first into the announce table corner. He may have lost teeth or broken his jaw.
As Dolph was thrown out of the ring in a gorilla press toss by Big Show, he landed on R-Truth and Wade Barrett on the floor. Barrett’s arm got caught up under Ziggler. Ziggler went face-first into the front edge of the desk.
Scott Armstrong just threw up the “X” sign, we can see Wade Barrett injured and hurt at ringside. Wade Barrett’s arm may be broken and EMTs are at ringside. Let’s hope he can recover well from this. CM Punk said it best. Don’t try this at home, kids.
Kofi springboard, and Jericho shoves him to the floor, bodies flying everywhere! Final four are Cody Rhodes, Santino Maralla, Big Show and Y2J Chris Jericho!
Disaster kick by Cody on Show!! Lionsault on Show. Headbutt on Show by Santino! Santino kips up and hit Cobra on Jericho but Cody throws out Santino who lands on Wade Barrett’s injured arm! That was not part of the plan surely.
Jericho and Cody are trying to suplex Show … Show suplexs them instead. Show tosses Cody out and we are down to final two. Show goes for a chokeslam on Jericho … Jericho has a guillotine hold and is holding on.
Jericho pulls Show on the apron and Cody Rhodes pulls Big Show off onto the floor. Chris Jericho wins the #1 contender spot to challenge CM Punk at Wrestlemania 28. CM Punk in the ring … offers a handshake … .and Jericho walks out!

No doubt we’ll hear more from these two on the mic in the weeks leading to the biggest WWE PPV event of the year. This year Wrestlemania 28 card is shaping up nicely, with John Cena vs the Rock, Triple H vs The Undertaker and now the CM Punk vs Chris Jericho Wrestlemania 28 WWE Title match.
