CM Punk Suspension Shoot Promo
This week, CM Punk described his early days in WWE, and talked about the fact that internally from the beginning, he was a red flag for many people because he was a “Paul Heyman” Guy.
Same for Brock Lesnar who fortunately leave the company. A ” Paul Heyman” Guy: that was what they automatically brand Cm Punk behind the scenes and made it difficult for CM Punk.
CM Punk was convinced that he is by far the most talented wrestlers (one word, which he incorporates into the sequence again and again and especially emphasized) in the WWE roster currently.
He was the best wrestler in the roster and the greatest talent on the microphone. Nevertheless, he would not headline WrestleMania and his name hardly marketed efficiently even after six years in the promotion.
CM Punk Suspension – Talks About WWE Politics
An exceptional talent like him is actually entitled. He was not sent on talk shows to promote the WWE, he would not get movie offers from WWE Films and will not be selected for the “stupid” celebrity shows on USA Network.
He subsequently insulted by name John Laurinaitis (Johnny Ace) as an a** kisser, and announced that he want to defend the WWE title after the July PPV in New Japan and Ring of Honor, Punk briefly greeted Colt Cabana with a wave at the camera and then finally took the McMahon family to task.
CM Punk Suspension – Shoots on Mcmahon Family
Here he became more personal. He said that he had always previously thought, as soon Vince finally was dead, the promotion might had a chance to finally get better. But not anymore as he realize his daughter, the stupid bitch, and the completely idiotic son-in-law would be at the helm and then everything could be worse.
Then he wanted to tell a personal story about Vince McMahon, and the “anti-bullying” PR campaign started by the company …
At this point, WWE finally switched off the microphone. Punk was still speaking a little further, without the microphone you could hear him. WWE RAW went “off air” abruptly. How much of it is “Worked Shoot” or “shoot” is in the eye of the beholder.
Already this was probably a candidate for the “wrestling promo” of the year. Shortly after the Raw program went off the air, WWE website announced with an official “press release” the news about CM Punk Suspension.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon suspends CM Punk
June 27, 2011
Monday Night Raw’s abrupt conclusion last night was not due to technical difficulties. The decision to suddenly end the broadcast in that manner was made by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and CEO, who gave this quote to WWE Website: “CM Punk was suspended indefinitely for his unprofessional conduct as soon as Raw went off the air.”
With CM Punk WWE contract expiring on July 17, one can only assume that this suspension effectively terminates CM Punk’s tenure with WWE.
CM Punk Suspension – Built up Frustrations
The (apparently) final weeks of CM Punk in the WWE took another twist after yesterday’s Monday Night RAW. At the end of the two-hour show from Las Vegas, the Straightedge Superstar had a promo that shook the wrestling world over.
After he had intervened in the main event of RAW, and cost John Cena the match against R-Truth. Punk grabbied the microphone. Wearing a “Stone Cold Steve Austin” T-shirt wearing, he sat down cross-legged in front of the video wall.
After a few insults against Cena, Punk went on a five-minute rant which was shouted spontaneously from the gut into the mic. It was virtually a shoot on the company backstage politics over the last six years.
