CM Punk Returns
This week on WWE Raw, we saw CM Punk Returns to WWE to face off with John Cena.
It looks like we will have the Champion vs Champion match for the WWE title at Summerslam 2011 PPV on 14 August 2011 in Los Angeles.
The two WWE champions John Cena and CM Punk look set to face off. Goal of their duel: the coronation of a title and undisputed WWE Champion.

Earlier on, there were as much drama prior to seeing CM Punk Return To WWEas the new WWE chairman Triple H comes out to an in-ring promo and thanked Vince McMahon first for everything that was achieved for the Company. HHH then talks about the future of the Company.
He first congratulated Rey Mysterio WWE Championship title win and shall then set for the evening another WWE Championship match as the main event. As John Cena was entitled to a rematch, he’ll get it this evening and that against Rey Mysterio.
We then saw John Cena wins wwe championship before CM Punk Returns to confront his rival as Raw went off the air.
Other WWE Raw Notes
- The current Florida Heavyweight Champion Bo Rotundo was in the dark match prior to yesterday’s edition of RAW. He wrestled Primo. Rotundo is the son of Mike Rotunda (Irwin R. Schyster) and the brother of former Nexus member Husky Harris. Since December 2008, he has worked for WWE.
-In yesterday’s edition of RAW, not one but two new WWE champions were crowned. For one thing, Rey Mysterio WWE Championship began in the final of the tournament against The Miz by before he lost the title to John Cena in the main event. Triple H had booked the main event as a rematch for John Cena.
immediately after winning the title Mysterio had to deal with a MITB cash-in attempt by Alberto Del Rio, who failed again. Mysterio now has two previously WHC Titele wins and now the WWE Championship as career accomplishment.
After the second WWE Championship Match with John Cena’s victory, we saw CM Punk Returns Raw with a new Entrance Theme (“Cult of Personality” by Living Colour), which he used in the past already in ROH. Punk wore during his appearance the “Best in the World” T-shirt and his WWE Championship and had a Staredown with Cena.
Both guys raise their WWE title into the air. According to speculation, both will now meet at SummerSlam in a match to determine the one true WWE champion in a rematch from Money In The Bank.
Finally, as RAW went off the air loud fans in attendance were cheering for CM Punk Returns. The reactions of punk was said to have been better than for John Cena. Punk took the microphone and simply said “I’m back” and pose with his WWE Championship belt before leaving.
While CM Punk Returns to WWE Raw, it is unknown if Triple H has resigned CM Punk to a new WWE contract.
