According to backstage sources, fans can expect to see CM Punk Movie Marine 3 by next year. WWE Champion CM Punk is scheduled during this summer to shoot his first feature film under WWE Studios.
CM Punk Marine 3 Movie Role
CM Punk has reportedly been offered the main role in the upcoming action film “The Marine 3″. Randy Orton was originally the selected superstar for the movie, but a wave of protests from many U.S. soldiers last week meant the WWE had to look for a new leading man. The protest was due to Randy Orton AWOL charges during his stint as a USA marine soldier.
Randy Orton Twitter account wrote on the decision of the WWE to replace his main role in the upcoming action film “The Marine 3″ , due to many soldiers of the U.S. Army making complains.
Orton had before his wrestling career had a short-lived career with the Marines of the U.S. Army where he was charged with “desertion” and leaving his unit without permission. Orton then spend more than a month in a military prison.
After heavy criticism by his former comrades about his nomination for the lead role in “The Marine 3″, Orton made some comments on his Twitter account, pointing out that he flown with the WWE to Iraq or Afghanistan to entertain the soldiers stationed there on 3 occasions.
Orton also blamed WWE management for offering him the role despite knowing about his past issues in the Marine, only to then take away the role after backlash from the army. Orton maintain that he respect the military and deserve credit for his contributions to WWE Overseas trips to meet the soldiers.
