CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011: Can Punk Leave With The WWE Title?

CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011

One of the biggest night in his career, we look at the CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011 situation. CM Punk can win the WWE Title, but would he leave with it?

A quick introduction, thank you to all the readers who may know me from my personal blog (wrestlingwonders). I’m Max Waltham and I am very happy to have joined tribal wrestling. I hope to get stuck in and hope you also enjoy what you read.

My opinions are based on mine and mine alone; however I always listen to others and cohesively question and understand different points.

They can be quite frank and explicit at times – so that’s your health warning! I hope you all enjoy my features and articles and would love to hear some feedback on anything. (And please don’t steal/enforce my views/articles as your own, as its bad journalism and looks kinda tacky :p).

Analysis of CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011 Storyline

My view is that CM Punk could actually win the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank 2011. Though the simplistic principal of the PPV history itself has been blindly overlooked by many as to the possible outcome. Punk can beat Cena to massive elation of the victory in his hometown.

Someone IS going to get a WWE Title shot also, that much we know is guaranteed. Could RAW’s (or even S/D’s) MITB winner cash in on Punk to screw him for the WWE Title? This would keep it firmly on RAW.

CM Punk could indeed keep the WWE title and go to New Japan for 3 months defending it as Vince could work a talent exchange program. Punk could bring back Prince Devitt with him.

Should CM be tempted back, or perhaps bring the indy stable into play by conducting ‘World tour’ grasping talent to tackle the Cena corporate fest in Stamford. ROH/Japan and Britain having the WWE Title defended would be wonderful to see.

CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011 Ending

Back to the PPV ending, is there already also a number 1 contender? Could Vince pay someone off to screw CM Punk? Vince Mcmahon screwing CM Punk out of the title or at least be involved would be high on the list of scenarios.

Either way, there could indeed be a screwy finish, (Or maybe a Montréal esq. infusement a coming?). Remember what happened the last time somebody tried to leave the WWE with the title?

And what of the MITB winners themselves? Top leading contenders to ‘snag’ it would be for Smackdown, Wade Barrett & Cody Rhodes. Personally I feel Rhodes should have won last year, and needs this before WWE completely dilute his gimmick back to the Legacy failing to ignite act.

For RAW, (not sounding pretentious) but apart from Vince, only I seemingly could see Swagger looting the case. This PPV is dealt airs of speculation and shock,.

Swagger winning a second time out of the blue, when no one assumes he will gain it is the leading contender to the shock factor. Jack still has potential for the main event. Alberto Del Rio & Alex Riley are the only other potentials within grabbing distance.

Del Rio has been originally earmarked for Summerslam, though plans change. Vince may just use this as a red herring. Del Rio can easily gain the SS match without MITB, as other ways are always found to not seem, obvious.

Alex Riley is the other contender to become WWE’s future. Riley is exactly that and if WWE give him the case, this proves Riley is set for stardom, as he should be. Plus he has got the look in all areas to make it. Rileylicious!

Tonight I’ll put my money on Swagger, though any of the 3 I would praise with the win. It’s time WWE got some talent built as this PPV is clearly meant to achieve. Del Rio and Riley are set for climbing the hill.

Swagger was shoved off the mountain, this could clearly propel him back to the top and set him properly, hopefully, into the main event as a player to WWE’s future. When Cena is gone, there will need to be new stars to fill the void and need feuds with each other to exist growth for WWE overall.

We shall just have to see how the CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011 storyline plays out on the night…from CM Punk hometown on July 17th, live on PPV.

Please feel free to share your views as I’m interested to hear your thoughts also on the CM Punk Money In The Bank 2011 storyline.

Much Love,
Max
